CASA for Douglas County was founded 22 years ago in 1998. The mission remains the same and stronger than ever: training, empowering, and inspiring volunteer advocates to improve the lives of children who have experienced abuse or neglect.
In celebration of 22 years of tenacious advocacy, join us for 22 days of running and walking to raise awareness for children in foster care who still need permanency. By participating in the CASA Superhero Run & Walk, you take a stand against child abuse and neglect and speak out on behalf of children who deserve a consistent advocate by their side.
This year we're going VIRTUAL - which means you can choose your own course to run or walk anytime between Friday, July 17th and Saturday, August 8th!

Every child deserves a safe, permanent, and loving home. YOU can help CASA for Douglas bring hope to more kids in foster care by broadening the impact of your run/walk.
A fundraising page is automatically created for all run/walk participants. Your friends and family members can make contributions in your honor to cheer you on! Share your fundraising page with your connections or on social media to help CASA serve more children in foster care. Don't forget to tag CASA for Douglas County and use the hashtag #CASAOmahaSuperhero.
If 45 run/walk participants encourage 22 friends to donate $22 dollars each, CASA will reach our goal of raising $22,000 in 22 days to serve 22 more kids!
