AndersonsAwesomeAdventures
My CASA story! For several years when I had Come Together Photo Booth we did several events for CASA and in May 2015, I reached out to Kim Thomas and said I was ready to become a CASA. Less than one week later, I found out I was expecting a baby and decided it wasn't the best time to start a new volunteer project.
Shortly before Anderson's 2nd Birthday, the entire family attended a CASA Service League friendraiser and I jumped in to get involved. Anderson is now 4 1/2 and has completed two Super Hero Runs, had a birthday fundraiser collecting items for Project Hope Pack, attended lots of meetings at the Super Hero Building, and even filled a few packs for Project Hope Pack.
For two years, I chaired the Project Hope Pack Committee and now I am the President of the CASA Service League and CASA of Douglas Co Board Member. CASA makes a BIG DIFFERENCE in the lives of so many kids. I hope you will join our virtual team.
We are asking for $22 for the 22nd year of CASA in Omaha but we will truly appreciate any amount.
